It’s Spring!! Finally, it looks like winter 2008 is on the way out. So, as the saying goes “out with the old and in with new” the Tristate Chapter will be doing just that. But, first as outgoing president I would like give you a small recap of the past year. I want to thank everyone involved in our chapter for all of the help and support during the past year. Last June, with Rick Goedde at the helm, we had a very successful Golf Outing. We are sure of a repeat this year, please try to attend on June 14th and enjoy the fun. Thanks Rick. Last October we had a joint meeting with CAPANA. I spoke recently with the president-elect, Mary Lou Rigdon and they are interested in even more joint ventures in the future. Our November meeting was a dinner to thank our partners in industry. All who attended had a great time and we would like to see this function continue to grow in the coming years. In January we invited Roxanne Qualls, Cincinnati councilwoman, to be our speaker. February’s weather was a little brutal leading to cancellation of our meeting. March brought us to Congress in Anaheim, always the highlight of the year for those who get to attend. There will be a Congress report on the web sight soon. April brings to our slate of candidates who will be elected and installed at our May meeting, thus ending the old reign and bringing in the new. So thank you all for a great year. Here’s looking forward to a another successful year with Linda Rulon as our new President.
